Celebrating our 10 year anniversary

On the 4^th of December in the cultural centre Barbara in Wroclaw, friends, donors and volunteers of Window of Life Foundation gathered together to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. This special event meant a lot to us! It is not often that we get the opportunity to meet with each other as we all live in different locations around Poland, Germany and the UK. 

During our gathering, one of the founders of Window of Life Babies Home – Marta Majewska-Vaassen, spoke about the last 10 years and what was achieved over the years. Apart from providing Home for abandoned or orphaned children, Window of Life also offers scholarships, medical interventions and actively supports women groups. The meeting was also a fantastic occasion for the volunteers to share their stories. Magdalena Stekla spoke about various marketing and fundraising initiatives. Beata Niewczas explained about the volunteering programme and Kamila Davies shared her volunteering experience and what living in Masindi meant to her. Agnieszka and Marek Musial who go to Uganda regularly, told their funny, but also moving volunteering stories from the past four years.

 We would like to thank everyone who came to celebrate with us our 10-year anniversary and made this event even more special.
